Dr. Masamune Nomura, a researcher in our laboratory, took up his post as assistant professor in the Department of Electrical, Electronic and Information Engineering at Akita National College of Technology on October 1, 2022. Congratulations! Professor Nomura will continue to work as a visiting researcher in our laboratory.
Associate Professor Takei of our laboratory has been selected as the principal investigator for the JST Advanced Research and Development Program (A-STEP) Tryout for FY2022. We will be starting an industry-academia collaborative research project with Sony Global Manufacturing & Operations Inc., with the goal of establishing a high-performance electromagnetic field analysis method for the design of 5G communication devices with large-scale and complex structures. Please look forward to it.
One graduate student (Onaka) and Associate Professor Takei presented their research at the international conference JSST2022. Associate Professor Takei also served as the vice-executive chairman of this international conference.
Dr. Masamune Nomura, a researcher in our laboratory, has been selected as the principal investigator for the 2022 Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research and Research Activity Start-up Support. We will begin research and development into high-precision, high-speed analysis of current density-thermal conduction-structure coupling inside the human body during high-voltage electric shock. Associate Professor Takei of our laboratory has been selected as the representative researcher for the Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research (Challenging Research) for FY2022. We will start research and development of a nonlinear acoustic analysis method to improve the sound quality and ensure safety of ultrasonic speakers. Please look forward to it.
